Argh, there's a story alright. That book was written by Dr. Bill Warner, one of the more offensive hate mongers out there. In short, he runs the Center for the Study of Political Islam, a well-funded group that argues, via wildly misleading statistical analyses by Dr. Warner (who claims to have been a math and physics prof at several southern colleges), that Islam is the most evil thing in the world. He's a rather sad character but a lot of people fall for his crap.
