This guy is one of the Tompkins Square DIS-organizers who, along with Commie Carl (aka "The Troll" and "Frenchie") and Joel (aka "Caveman"), fucked up more efforts at creating a large all-inclusive effective political movement on the Lower East Side than I can recount here.

Richie is one of the lunatic fringe that makes real political activists look crazy. Unfortunately, the LES is a place where misfits like Richie can blend in....
