It's up to us folks , not plutocrat Mike Bloomberg and his billions , to see that such governance prevails .

its a tough call, the potential ethical issues with Thompson vs. the obvious fascist tendencies of Bloomberg (rounding up civil dissidents, 500,000 stop & frisks, federalizing the NYPD, total surveillance in Manhattan, etc). I believe the latter to be more dangerous, and have voted appropriately.
