Is that the kitty from Tony's deli on St. Marks and A? She's very sweet and a little prissy--I spoiled her over there when she was a kitten...ps, I love your blog--I've been lurking on here for awhile, living in the neighborhood for over a decade (I'm only 31), and your photos are remarkable. While I know the gentrification of the EV has been happening for a long time (and some may consider me part of it, I suppose, although I don't see myself that way), it really seems as if the efforts to, I don't know, elite-ify this area have been stepped up a great deal over the past 2 or 3 years.

Shana , I don't know who the cat belongs to .It just walked in front of me crossing my path . It was so black and with an arched back it hissed .
