From Tompkins Square Park , Through a Very Long Lens

I have always liked the view of the empire state from the dog park area. It is the one place i can really see the building in the neighborhood.
The lens is a 300mm f 2.8 image stabilized Canon L series lens which is coupled to an optical focal length doubler thus making the true optical focal length of the combination 600mm.
The shots were all made hand-held without the use of a tri-pod or mono-pod .Canon image stabilization as you can see does work .
