11 Feb .2007-Reverend Billy : The Sermon

Sorry but no sound for this second Sunday in a row of sermons at the Astor Place black cube.

Comments:
Bob, again, I can't thank you enough for doing this. The Ethiopian - Starbucks issue has been an interesting and troublesome topic among scholars as well. Recently a noted professor from the SBS of Oxford university wrote an extensive article about the trademarking issue of Ethiopian coffee. The British media has done more than its American counterparts in bringing this matter to the attention of the public. As you might know it has been conclusively proven (a professor from Harvard wrote a massive book about coffee's origin)that Ethiopia is the birth place of coffee. It is utterly immoral and unethical that Starbucks tries to prevent the original home of coffee, Ethiopia, from trademarking its coffee. I am infinitely grateful to you and Reverend Billy for raising public awareness regarding this matter.

John
